Rund um den Olperer

Huttentocht rond de Olperer, van het Zillertal via de Berliner Höhenweg naar de Stillupsee. De tour wordt alleen aanbevolen bij mooi en droog weer. A very exhausting stage. We needed a total of 9.45 hours for this. There was no refreshments and it was very hot in between, because we had descended into the valley.

A long, but relatively easy, nine-hour hike. On this tour, there are several opportunities for a stop, the Pfitscherjoch house and further down the Schlegeisspeicher several kiosks and restaurants as a change to the previous stages.

The 5th stage was also high and was technically and conditionally extremely demanding. The beginning was certainly one of the most beautiful sections of the entire tour. The 6th stage leads over the trail no. 502 once again steep and partly rope insured over a pass, now on the Lapenscharte (2,701 m).

After taking a break behind the Lapenscharte below the large boulder field, we observed a flock of sheep standing on a snow field (see photo). They were several hundred yards… meer lezen

After breakfast it was time to say goodbye to the mountains. We followed a piece of the Siebenscheiden path and descended into the stump soil to the green wall house (1.472 m).
