I have been a keen climber/scrambler since my late teens, with most of those early years spent in Scotland, with only a few excursions in the Lake District. Nowadays I limit those activities to scrambling and trekking due to a falling injury some years ago which was not related to climbing. Even though my main love might be trekking in remote mountains regions, I never fail to enjoy a nice hike along a rugged coastline.
