Today we hiked part of the Mullerthal Trail, which includes three walking routes in Luxembourg Switzerland with a total length of 112 km. A very nice tour with a waterfall, a spring and great rock formations and adventurous passages through narrow and dark crevices.

The "Pieterpad" is a long distance hiking trail with a total length of 498 km through the Netherlands. In the Limburg region we have already hiked three times on smaller sections of the Pieterpads. These legs were very nice.

With the nice weather this time we were drawn to the Moselle loop near Bremm. A great area, the Calmonter via ferrata is still on the list. Today with the four-legged friends it would have been too stressful. We all had a lot of fun with the route over the Calmonter Höhenweg.

Today we hiked one of the two premium hiking trails in the Hoge Kempen National Park. A very varied route, we really liked it. Although it was Saturday, we were completely alone on the middle part of the hike in the forest - pure nature!

One month ago, we were last in this heathland, it has now changed significantly - now the Erika blooms. In July, the red tones dominated, now it is the violet tones that stand out. Again it was wonderfully beautiful!

We used the beautiful sunny day for an excursion in the Ahr valley and visited the Teufelsloch and the Teufelsley.
