With a fully charged battery, today I went on a long round trip on the eBike: from D-Oberkassel via Erkrath, Hochdahl and Gruiten to W-Vohwinkel. There not only the one-time suspension railway, but also the Nordbahntrasse (old railway line) starts:

In times of Corona, very few people were on the move anyway and so only brave night joggers and walkers were on the dark, unlit walkway on the D-Oberkasseler Rheinufer (I love dogs with a disco collar!). After bad weather had been announced for the rest of Sunday, we went straight to Wittlaer-Nord after breakfast for a small morning tour along the stately villas and back directly on the banks of the Rhine. Due to the summer time it is finally brighter at the end of the day and you can walk this beautiful arch of the Rhine along the dike bank of D-Oberkassel beautifully at sunset.

The highways are completely deserted, but the classic hotspots such as parks and the Rhine promenade are all the more crowded.
